🤔 Are you interested in converting more leads into sales for your business? This HubSpot tutorial will show you how.
😮 2 years ago we started using the free version of HubSpot and it has had a monumental impact on the growth of our business.
👌 We now have a digital sales funnel in place which tracks where prospects are in the sales process, sends us reminders of actions we need to take to nudge them one step closer to a sale and ultimately helps us convert more leads into sales. It’s bloody brilliant!

As I explain in the above HubSpot tutorial, HubSpot is an inbound marketing and sales software that helps companies attract visitors, convert leads and close customers.
HubSpot will help you;
1. Develop a digital sales funnel to track where customers are in their journey to becoming a customer
2. Remind you of the actions you need to take to guide them through that journey
3. Track all interactions and customer data
4. Lots more clever stuff
It’s FREE (with optional upgraded packages). You can find HubSpot’s full pricing details here.
We’ve been using the free version for the last 2 years and haven’t found any need to upgrade – the free version is awesome!
There’s loads you can do in HubSpot, but there are 3 key areas that we use to convert more leads into sales;
1. Contacts
2. Deals
3. Tasks
What is it?
This is a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system that allows you to store a whole variety of data on anyone who shows an interest in becoming a customer.
What does it do?
The contacts section allows you to easily record data on potential customers e.g. contact details, company information, notes, calls, emails, meetings & lots more.
How to add contacts
Step 1: Click on the Contacts Tab at the top left of the screen
Step 2: Next Click Create Contact in the top right of the screen
Step 3: Enter the Contact’s Name, Email Address and various other pieces of information like Job Title. Finally, click Create Contact and that person will now be added to your contacts list.
What is it?
Deals are used to store, projects and report on potential and closed revenue.
What does it do?
Deals allow you to identify, track, and report on the experiences your contacts and companies went through before becoming customers. You can customise the steps needed to be taken with new clients depending on your businesses model and needs.
What is it?
Tasks are one of my favourite features in HubSpot. This tool allows you to keep track of your sales-generating-activity to-do activities.
What does it do?
You can use this section to monitor what needs to be done and when. You can prioritise certain tasks over others so you needn’t miss a deadline again. You can also set up alerts so that even if you don’t check your HubSpot account you still won’t forget about the jobs that need to be done.
If you are part of a team, you can also assign certain tasks to other employees. To aid with many people working on one contact there is the option to mark tasks as complete to ensure that customers are not angered by repeated contact.
Since discovering HubSpot 2 years ago, we’ve seen a significant growth in our Agency. I put a big part of this down to how organised we are with our sales funnel which we manage on HubSpot.
