Sorry Lloyd I just saw your response. As a matter of fact I will be doing my first public interview/Live Stream today. The microphone does come with a wind shield (called a dead cat), you can see it in the photos (it looks like a fluffy ball).

Your iPhone should have come with an adaptor which allows you to plug in an aux lead to your phone.
The LAV MIC We’ve shared in this article will work with this adaptor.
